How long is it?
It is an
evening's entertainment beginning whenever you arrive. It is continuous
but you will be here on average three hours. It depends on how long you
want to spend in the Munch House, or how long you want to sit by the fire,
or how many attractions you choose to see. There are very small crowds
when we first open. The crowds
tend to get larger as we get closer to Halloween. Traditionally, we are
less crowded on a Friday and on the 2 Sundays that we are open. It is best
to come early and be one of the first in. We start at dark. How do you
know when it is dark? Look up!
Is it really scary?
That is why nobody
under 8 is admitted. 75% of our audience are adults!
Here's
what some of our visitors say about the Haunted Adventure...
I just had to
send you a message to say how much your barn and black cavern terrified
me, a 43 year old baby. WOW - you put so much into the attractions, I
still can hardly believe it. The exhibits were absolutely incredible, as
were the horrifying people in costume - one of whom in the barn made me
feel like I was actually in an old horror film - you must thank this guy
- he was the one where the wood type maze was.
The end of the
barn was absolutely terrifying for my 12 year old friend, Shelly, who
ran like Forrest Gump to escape the Chain Saw bearing madman. At the
time, I was still being chased by the nut from the wood maze, and then
it was my turn for the chain saw.
I don't think I
could handle doing it again - I don't handle fear very well, even though
I know you're supposed to realize "it's not real", especially
at my age. However, we had a great time and you should be commended for
the work that goes into all of the exhibits etc.
The main thing I
came for, the hay ride, was a little less frightening - I sat in the
middle - and was a welcome calming from our first two scary walks
through the barn and the cavern.
Thanks for
showing such spirit
Christine L.
and Shelly S.

attended your Haunted Adventure. It was absolutely amazing. I don't know

This was no kiddie experience!"

Is food available?
Food such as Hotdogs, chips, pop, coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, chocolate bars, and more are for sale in the Munch House.
Food prices range from $1.00 to $3.25.
Is it really rain or
shine?
Our Hay Wagons are
covered. The Munch House is covered. You must still
realize that we are a farm and it is an outside event. You must dress
accordingly.
You must get from
one area to another. Farm weather is usually a little cooler than city
weather. We will operate rain or shine unless it is continuous torrential
type rain in which case it becomes impossible for our tractors to stay on
the trail and impossible for our actors.
Are we the original
Haunted Adventure?
Yes. We started 18
years ago with technical advice from illusion builders, make up
specialists, special effects masters and international technical advisors.
Over the past few years we have acquired our own team of special effects people, make up artists and technical advisors.
Magic Hill's Haunted Adventure has now grown to a Haunted theme park with 5 attractions to terrify and entertain you
What
about specials for groups?
15 people or more
The
advantage of pre-booking a group (15 people or more ) is twofold.
You get your tickets in advance and thus
bypass the main ticket purchase lines, however you may need to wait in
line for each attraction. Plus $2 off the ticket price for 3 or more attractions for groups of 15.
Do you have to wait
in line?
Traditionally there
is almost no waiting during the first few weekends.
For those who enjoy VIP
treatment , you can be at the front of the line by buying our VIP Express
Pass
See prices
below.
People usually want to
come closer to Halloween. We have 5 different entertainment choices, this
helps to reduce wait times even on our busy nights. When there are line
ups our undead are usually out there giving away prizes, running trivia
contests, doing magic, and telling jokes.
Do We Accept Credit Cards or Debit Cards?
Unfortunately not, because we are located on a farm we do not have this ability at this time. Please see the map below for the location of banks in Stouffville.
